Spot Details

-Lake Winnebago is a large lake which provides many locations to kiteboard on any wind direction. Launching requires a partner or the ability to water launch.

While the lake may not have sand beaches to launch from, it does provide several sand bars to launch from. These are submerged sandbars than can easily be seen from the satellite images. Generally about 3 sandbars can be located within about 75 yards from shore.

The lake doesn't have sand beaches, but instead has alot of trees, piers, and rocks along shore. This can make launching and landing difficult. The lake is about 30 miles long and 10 miles wide at it's widest point, but is pretty shallow with the deepest part being 30 feet although much of the lake is closer to only 10 feet deep.
